The application of the mourning and joy ceremonies of the Ahl al-Bayt (a.s.) in strengthening the moral values ​​of the family

Abstract

Abstract
The comprehensive knowledge system of Islam pays special attention to individual and social issues and rulings, and to strengthening moral values in the family institution. Therefore, the religion of Islam has introduced the infallible leaders (AS) as role models and guides and has linked the feelings and emotions of the faithful people to their love. One of the most important manifestations of expressing devotion to the infallible leaders (AS) is participation in the feasts and celebrations as well as the mourning gatherings of those noble ones. The aim of this research is to prove the application of the mourning and celebration ceremonies of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) in strengthening the moral values of the family. This research was organized using library research and with the tools of collecting information and taking notes from reliable religious, psychological, and sociological sources, as well as experiences based on observations and with a descriptive-analytical approach. The research findings showed that: the mourning and celebration ceremonies of the(AS) have multifaceted and numerous functions; The capacity for role modeling, common norms and rules, strengthening the moral role of parents, restoring a morally oriented religious identity, the impact of mental health and a sense of belonging as religious brotherhood, bringing joy and comfort to believers, as well as cohesion and solidarity are among the capacities of the Ahlul Bayt (a.s.) mourning and celebration ceremonies, which are related to strengthening moral values in the family.
