The present research aimed to survey the aspects of ethics in Geo-classic school.
The subject of ethonomics has been considered from decade 1990 in the literature of economics, especially after the first decade crisis of the third millennium. As, some believe that economics, itself is a subset of ethics and the economics is meaningless regardless of ethics. In the one hand, the Geo-classic School mainly focuses on the earth as the most important factor and like as Physiocrats concentrates on the natural elements in surveying the economics thoughts. In the other hand, Geo-classic School has been combined from classicsâ and Physiocratsâ ideas, but criticized about some principals of these schools. Philosophy and theorist in the century 19th, Henry George is as founder of this school. Along this, by using library resources and description method, the relation between ethics and this school was surveyed.
The results indicate that the Geo-classic School is the most important school focusing on the ethics role in economics. Additionally, Geo-classic School will not stable in a society that its economic system is not based on ethics. Despite that, the expert economists emphasized on theory of separating economic from ethics, Henry George believed that ethic is inseparable element of the economy and the economics that has no the ethnic base will collapse soon. From the Geo-classic point of view, topics such as poverty, unemployment, justice with emphasizing on taxes and distribution of income and wealth, the environment crisis are items that are not surveying and discussing regardless ethics of the economics.
