A Comparative Analysis of the Concept of Moral Education from the Perspective of Allameh Tabatabai with the Growth Pattern of Personality Traits for Applying in Parenting

Abstract

One of the functions of the family is to raise new members and train children in the form of various educational needs, including moral education. The present article seeks to gain a deeper view of this field through an analytical comparison of the principles of ontology, anthropology and applications of the two models of moral education from the perspective of Allameh Tabatabai and the development of personality traits.
To achieve this goal, we used the method of the cyclical analysis process. Based on this, the parenting model based on Allameh Tabatabai's moral education views was explained as a new model and it was shown that "character" is the main purpose of changing the process of this model and how to create it under the influence of three factors. "Inherent nature (inherited)", "non-intrinsic moral traits (environment-created )" and "morality (self-made)" are human and the "will" of the person himself plays an important role in creating and shaping it. This model is based on creating changes in these factors and components to establish their own educational and training strategies and methods. There are fundamental differences in terms of ontological, anthropological, and applied principles with the pattern of moral education for the development of personality traits.
