This study aimed to identify and explain the etiology of sincerity among students. The research employed a semi-experimental method based on an entity-graphy case study approach. The participants included nine students from Shiraz University, selected through a representative sampling method that reflected the expressive, normal, and typical levels of sincerity indicators. Through in-depth interviews and directed content analysis, various indicators of sincerity were identified, described, and classified. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS-27 software, while Social Network Visualizer software was utilized for network analysis. The results revealed that the sincerity entity is characterized by fourteen indicators. Validation and reliability indices demonstrated that both the sincerity entity and its components possess acceptable reliability and consistency. Network analysis results indicated that the indicators of humility, faithfulness, and principle-oriented behavior prominently featured in the sincerity entity's information flow. This suggested that the components of conscientiousness, morality, and purity are the most significant markers of sincerity that activate its network. Additionally, the study found that the components of trustworthiness and benevolence play a key mediating role between the markers of sincerity. The practical implications of these findings suggest that by promoting and developing the aforementioned virtues, the flow of information within the sincerity network can be enhanced and stimulated. Furthermore, fostering virtues such as trustworthiness and benevolence can strengthen the connections between the markers of sincerity.
