The present study aims to analyze the moral costs of compromise in the Holy Quran in layers. In the current situation where the Islamic Ummah is facing a combined and cognitive war of enemies, accurate recognition of the moral costs of the two strategies of resistance and compromise has become a strategic necessity. Using a descriptive-analytical method and a layered analysis approach, this study examines verses related to compromise (with an emphasis on the words "adhan", "rukun" and "madahnah") and categorizes the moral costs of compromise into five layers: apparent, individual, social, spiritual and civilizational. The findings of the study show that the first layer (apparent) includes the deception of fleeting peace and temporary relief of pressures. The second layer (individual) leads to the collapse of faith, moral humiliation and internal duality. The third layer (social) brings about the rupture of social bonds, division, and loss of independence. The fourth layer (spiritual) entails deprivation of divine support and deprivation of existential dignity. The fifth layer (civilizational) leads to historical degeneration, cultural transformation, and the collapse of collective identity. The research results emphasize that the moral costs of compromise in deeper layers are much heavier and more lasting than the apparent costs of resistance, and the Holy Quran, with its layered analysis model, provides Islamic societies with an efficient tool for moral-strategic decision-making.
